Moving to Germany
After a long break Pat began to tour again in Germany and due to his increasing popularity there he moved to his present home in Nuremberg in Bavaria. Pat is very much at home amongst the towering mountains, fairytale castles, and endless forests of Bavaria, where he has become a considerable concert attraction, with many friends and fans. But he remains in close contact with Ireland and exchange visits of parties from Clare and Bavaria take place on a regular basis.

Höchstädt Dance Kids become friends
In the summer of 2001 a party from Clare visited Bavaria to attend a folk festival in Höchstädt, Northern Bavaria, where Pat was top of the bill. Also taking part were a group of young German Irish dancers, such was the impression they created that Paeder McNamara arranged for the Dance Kids to visit Clare. In March 2002 the dancers and parents, a party of more than 40 people travelled to Clare where they danced on St Patrick's day in Ennis. |
